DC Police Offer 25K Reward For Information On Suspect In Fatal Shooting

D.C. police seek to identify the suspect in a recent fatal shooting, officials said.

At around 9:30 p.m. on August 23, officers responded to a residence in the 2300 Block of Minnesota Avenue, where they located a victim suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The victim, identified as 24-year-old Chaquan Barbett, was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, authorities reported.

D.C. police said they are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone with information on this incident or the suspect.
